Serene Industries’ newest unveiling, Cleaver, is a Hall effect mechanical keyboard engineered from a single block of aluminum. Building on the design principles of the Icebreaker keyboard, Cleaver offers a thinner and lighter profile while maintaining the brand’s signature robust aesthetic.

Focused on essentials, it features hot-swappable Hall effect switches and interchangeable keycaps for enhanced usability and customization. Despite its full-height switches, Cleaver maintains the appearance and feel of a low-profile keyboard, providing both functionality and sleek design. Its compact dimensions – 365 mm x 110 mm x 17.5 mm – ensure a comfortable and precise typing experience without compromising performance.

The keyboard’s silicone overmold serves multiple functional purposes. It can act as non-slip feet for added stability, shielding embedded electronics from dust and splashes while improving sound quality. This thoughtful integration enhances the overall performance and offers a balanced typing sound that is neither too dense nor too hollow. Its aluminum keycaps are also meticulously crafted, each set machined and perforated with 1,204 holes to allow LED backlighting to shine through. This attention to detail elevates the aesthetic and functionality of the keyboard.

Cleaver features aluminum keycaps that are meticulously machined, each set containing 1,204 perforations to accommodate LED backlighting. Available in Clear and Black finishes, this premium device is priced at $850 USD and is currently open for pre-order via Serene Industries’ official webstore.
