2025 marks 20 years since Paul Rodriguez and the Nike SB team first introduced the world to the Nike SB P-Rod 1. The signature shoe was the first of many from Rodriguez and is again hitting shelves this year in celebration of its anniversary.
We first previewed the SB P-Rod 1’s return at the end of 2024 during the Swoosh’s most recent SNKRS Showcase event and now we have a complete set of official images highlighting its debut “White/Black” colorway. The model again dons a full leather upper with special “R” quilting spread across the heel counter. It also sports visible Zoom Air cushioning and a stuffed tongue. An “SHS” callout hits the metallic silver dubrae, an element that matches the tongue and heel branding. The OG colorway also opts to include a semi-translucent outsole this time instead of the black one previously featured at the bottom of its predecessors.
At the time of writing, the Nike SB team has not yet confirmed when Paul Rodriguez’s original SB P-Rod 1 silhouette will be returning to shelves. Stay tuned for updates, including the reveal of additional colorways, as we currently expect this “White/Black” rendition of the shoe to drop this May via Nike SNKRS and select skate shops at a starting price of $110 USD.
