Nike and Ja Morant continue to expand the offerings for the NBA player’s signature shoes. The upcoming Nike Ja 2 releases in the anticipated “Scratch” colorway. Taking on a rapid teal hue, the sneaker is a fresh take on the Memphis Grizzlies‘ classic uniforms. The design also takes inspiration from Ja Morant’s bold signature styles. Continuing on the themes from the Ja 1 “Scratch” and the Ja 2 “Black Label,” this pair features true cut-out claw mark in black overlays. The fierce aesthetic is a nod to Morant’s way of playing on the court. Set on the rapid teal upper, the Swoosh is accented in university red while the tongue branding is in ale brown. The heel features his classic “12:AM” phrase as it sits atop a Zoom cushioning on the underfoot and white midsole. Look out for the pair arriving next month.
