New Balance has continued to expand its 1906 franchise, leveraging the 1906A, 1906L, 1906R, 1906U, and the newly introduced 1906W to create fresh looks. As the American sportswear brand prepares for the summertime that is quickly approaching, it has assembled three different versions of the 1906R.

“Beige,” “Grey Matter,” and “Olive Brown” options of the 1906R all see the shoe sport a mesh and synthetic upper backed by an N-ergy midsole and ABZORB SBS heel cushioning. The “Beige” colorway offers a creamy white throughout the sneaker, pairing it with grey detailing. As for its partner in “Grey Matter,” it offers a true monochromatic finish with various greys layered atop one another. “Olive Brown” completes the lineup with an earthy brown upper and outsole accompanied by grey at its midsole.

At the time of writing, New Balance has not yet indicated when these three takes on the 1906R will be made available. Stay tuned for updates as we currently expect them to arrive via New Balance and select retailers at a starting price of $155 USD at some point in the months to come.
