Yung Lean Plays a Fallen Hero in "Babyface Maniacs" Visual
The second single lifted from his upcoming ‘Jonatan.’
A few weeks off his performance at Stockholm’s Avicii Arena earlier in the month, Yung Lean has unearthed the second official single from his upcoming project Jonatan. Due out on May 2, Lean’s imminent studio album is set to feature last month’s “Forever Yung,” as well as today’s new offering – a less upbeat and more existential one entitled “Babyface Maniacs.”
The expansive and abstract “Babyface Maniacs” shines a light on the other side of Lean’s artistry, as “Forever Yung” kicked things off on a more high-octane note.
“I’m on the run, on the run from everyone (I’m on the run) / We’re on the run, come on and grab your gun, let’s have some fun,” Lean delivers on the chorus of the cut – which also arrives with yet another captivating official music video.
Directed by frequent collaborator Leo Siboni, the “Babyface Maniacs” visual portrays Lean as a fallen hero, as he navigates a dystopian landscape in a color-blocked tracksuit whilst being continually shot at with arrows.
Lean also recently revealed his international tour plans, kicking off in early October and lasting through the end of November. Find the full list of dates below.
