White Mountaineering and Reebok Give the Classic Leather a Soft Tech Spin

Reebok has teamed up with White Mountaineering for a second collaboration, following their refined take on the Club C 85 Vintage Slip-on in 2024. Centering on the Classic Leather model, this time the Japanese label diverts from the minimalist sensibilities of their first collaboration to imbue the retro model with softened outdoor character.
The new White Mountaineering x Reebok Classic Leather is offered in two neutral tonal colorways—one in a grayscale palette and the other in a light brown. A foundation of hairy suede gives the shoe a cozy vintage sensibility emphasized by contrasting trims, while a synthetic textile printed with a gradient triangle pattern adds a dose of technicality to the design. As a callout to the collaboration, a repeating W pattern is showcased through a small window near the eyelets, and the White Mountaineering wordmark appears on the back heels.
The serene setting of the campaign reflects the brand’s conscious intentions regarding their latest partnership with Reebok. “Our brand is often associated with active scenes, but this time, we wanted to show how our collaboration shoes fit a more relaxed environment,” said White Mountaineering founder Yosuke Aizawa. “The soft mood of the campaign perfectly complements the color palette of the shoes.”
Set for release on April 11, the White Mountaineering x Reebok Classic Leather retails for $190 USD and will be available at the White Mountaineering web store, as well as the official Reebok site.
