It’s been well over a year since Devin Booker and Nike Basketball began rolling out colorways of his first signature shoe, the Nike Book 1, to wear while playing for the Phoenix Suns. Since then we’ve seen an unprecedented amount of colorways presented as both general releases and PEs — going from homages to legendary sneakers to looks themed around the state of Arizona.
While we await word of a Nike Book 2, Booker just took the court in a new “Mowabb”-inspired pair. The ACG line’s Mowabb silhouette debuted in 1991 and was brought back in 2021 for its 30th anniversary. In continuation of its legacy, a “Mowabb” colorway in “Sesame” and “Dusty Cactus” just dropped today and now we have a look at its “Trails End Brown” counterpart. The retro-inspired composition sees a brown upper joined by black Swooshes, as well as purple and gold detailing.
At the time of writing, neither Devin Booker nor Nike Basketball have indicated whether or not this “Trails End Brown” iteration of the Book 1 will be releasing to the public. Stay tuned for updates as we continue to monitor the continued rollout of Booker’s first signature shoe.
