The Nike Air Zoom Spiridon made its return to shelves last year. Having originally debuted in 1997, the model appeared in the second SNKRS Showcase event and was later the subject of a two-shoe fragment design collaboration. Now, after dropping in “Metallic Silver” and then a “Thunder Blue” made with UNDEFEATED and limited to just 1,000 pairs, the Swoosh is looking back 28 years with the return of the OG “Signal Blue” colorway.
This retro take on the ’90s runner sees it begin with a black mudguard that is accented by reflective piping. Its midfoot Swooshes feature a shiny silver with a black outline while the upper looks to its signature blue to inform the color choice of its mesh. A touch of red is included at the small Swooshes at the toe and tongue while a white midsole completes the pair.
For those looking forward to picking up a pair of Air Zoom Spiridons in this OG “Signal Blue,” it is set to drop on March 13 via Nike SNKRS and select retailers at a starting price of $160 USD. Enjoy a complete look at the design above and stay tuned for more news regarding the retro silhouette.
