Morgan Unveils New Supersport Flagship

Morgan Motor Company has introduced the Supersport, its latest flagship model, marking a new era of design and performance for the British automaker. Built on the brand-new CXV aluminum platform, the Supersport boasts increased rigidity, refined steering and an enhanced suspension system for an improved driving experience.

The Supersport features an interchangeable carbon composite hard top and a folding mohair soft top, offering two distinct driving experiences. Practicality is enhanced with increased storage behind the seats and the inclusion of a trunk — making it one of Morgan’s most touring-friendly models yet.

Inside, the Supersport integrates modern technology with its classic appeal. It includes an advanced Sennheiser audio system, wireless phone charging and Bluetooth hands-free calling. Despite these contemporary features, the car remains true to Morgan’s “21st Century Coachbuilding” ethos, blending traditional craftsmanship with modern engineering.

Under the hood, the Supersport is powered by BMW’s 3L TwinPower Turbo inline-six engine, delivering 335 hp. Paired with an eight-speed ZF automatic transmission, the lightweight sports car ensures an engaging and responsive ride. The platform is 10 percent more torsionally rigid than its predecessor, further increasing stability, while an optional carbon fiber hardtop improves rigidity by an additional 10 percent.

Aerodynamic enhancements include a redesigned front splitter, smoother body surfacing and underbody improvements, reducing drag by 5 percent and lift by 20 percent. New lightweight forged aluminum wheels, coupled with Michelin Pilot Sport 5 tires, enhance grip and handling. Available now, the Supersport starts at approximately $107,500 USD.
