Netflix's 'Black Mirror' Season 7 Official Trailer Teases "USS Callister" Sequel
Revealing new episodes with Issa Rae, Will Poulter and more.
Netflix has dropped the official trailer for the seventh season of Black Mirror.
The teaser sees the USS Callister take flight again in a first-look at what is to come for Charlie Booker’s sci-fi anthology series. This season will see Black Mirror revisit previous characters for the first time including Cristin Milioti and other key characters from Season 4, Episode 1 “USS Callister.” They are seen to be continuing their virtual voyage as Milioti reprises her role of Nanette Cole, a mild-mannered computer programmer who becomes stuck in a video game wit her boss Robert Daly, played by Jesse Plemons, unwillingly. Other returns include Billy Magnussen’s Karl, Milanka Brooks’ Elena and Osy Ikhile’s Nate.
In addition to these characters, newly announced cast members include Michele Austin, Ben Bailey Smith, Asim Chaudhry, Josh Finan, James Nelson-Joyce, Will Poulter, Jay Simpson and Michael Workéyè. The seventh season also sees Awkwafina, Peter Capaldi, Emma Corrin, Patsy Ferran, Paul Giamatti, Lewis Gribben, Osy Ikhile, Rashida Jones, Siena Kelly, Rosy McEwen, Chris O’Dowd, Issa Rae, Paul G. Raymond, Tracee Ellis Ross and Harriet Walter all star in separate episodes. The series has received 14 Emmy nominations and nabbed eight wins and Season 7 premieres on April 10.
