Netflix Sets Official 'Happy Gilmore 2' Release Date
Arriving this summer.

Mark your calendars for a tee off with Netflix and Adam Sandler this summer. The streaming giant has officially announced the release date for the long-awaited golf-focused comedy, Happy Gilmore 2.
Set to premiere this July, the sequel is to Sandler’s original 1996 film Happy Gilmore, which saw his character go from being an ice hockey player to a golfer. Sandler returns alongside Christopher McDonald, Julie Bowen, Ben Stiller, Dennis Dugan and Allen Covert to reprise their previous roles from the first film. The movie wil also see a series of professional golfers make cameos including, Keegan Bradley, Bryson DeChambeau, John Daly, Tony Finau, Rickie Fowler, Brooks Koepka, Rory McIlroy, Collin Morikawa, Jack Nicklaus, Corey Pavin, Xander Schauffele, Scottie Scheffler, Jordan Spieth, Justin Thomas, Lee Trevino and Will Zalatoris. Other big names include Eminem, Reggie Bush, Travis Kelce, Dan Patrick, and Becky Lynch, set to make appearances in the film as newcomers alongside Margaret Qualley, Benny Safdie, Nick Swardson, Kid Cudi, Maxwell Jacob Friedman, Bad Bunny and Ethan Cutowsky.
Proving to be a star studded affair, the plot synopsis still has yet to be revealed but it will see Gilmore and McGavin come together once again to coach their new proteges in a prestigious golf tournament, reigniting old rivalry. Happy Gilmore 2 releases on Netflix on July 25.
