Netflix has officially confirmed the release schedule for Ink, Danny Boyle’s forthcoming Rupert Murdoch-focused feature. Adapted by playwright James Graham from his own Tony-winning stage production, the drama explores the high-stakes evolution of modern tabloid journalism. The storyline focuses on media mogul Rupert Murdoch (Guy Pearce) hiring editor Larry Lamb (Jack O’Connell) to reshape British newspaper The Sun into a populist media powerhouse. Claire Foy joins the lead cast as Jules Davies.
