FootJoy by Jon Buscemi Returns for THE PLAYERS Championship
Serving up Palm Beach energy with a dusty pink upper.

The latest edition of FootJoy and West Coast fashion designer Jon Buscemi‘s partnership for THE PLAYERS Championship, the first big tournament of the golf season, nods to golf’s nautical traditions while honoring past champion a champion Jerry Pate with a rose pink upper. “To touch on the inspiration, the first winner of THE PLAYERS Championship at TPC Sawgrass was the blueprint behind the color direction,” said Buscemi. “A classic rose quartz and cream with the forever classic navy and red grosgrain taping, this is truly another heirloom added to the shoe collection.”
Past iterations of the FJ by Jon Buscemi have been well received by the golf community, selling out quickly after dropping on FootJoy’s website. But this year’s project is a bit of a risk if only because it breaks up the formula. Since its inception, the Buscemi x FootJoy pairs have leaned on a combination of white or off-white with gold accents, but the 2025 entry is sure to be a showstopper thanks to its premium swatches of pebbled and patent pink leather.
A new silhouette, the tennis-adjacent Court LE, also joins the fold as a casual spikeless option for on and off course wear. It certainly suits the creative direction for the campaign imagery as Buscemi is seen seated on an old school cabin cruiser. Both pairs will drop this Thursday on FootJoy in limited quantities.
