Manchester-based streetwear label Drama Call joins forces with adidas Originals to reimagine the Superstar II. Dubbed “Head North,” the collaboration pays homage to Drama Call’s Manchester roots, merging local culture with the iconic shell-toe silhouette.

Inspired by the city’s Metrolink, the sneaker features teal accents reminiscent of its trams, while a Manchester city map imprint on the insole ensures wearers carry a piece of home with every step. The design boasts a black leather upper, contrasted by white interiors, laces and heel tabs, while bold teal Three Stripes add a striking pop of color.

Drama Call’s signature star motif is intricately woven throughout the design. The shell toe is adorned with small star-shaped details, while black and white stars accent the heel and tongue. A teal graffiti-style star pattern embedded within the translucent outsole adds an artistic touch. Additionally, perforated stars between the teal stripes introduce subtle texture and a silver star-shaped hangtag provides a refined finishing touch.
