Update: It’s been a big year for Bad Bunny as he kicked 2025 off with the release of his sixth studio album DeBÍ TiRAR MáS FOTos. In continuation of this momentum, he and adidas are back to introduce a new sneaker — the Ballerina. Inspired by his Puerto Rican roots, the model combines the brand’s Taekwondo silhouette with modern aesthetics. Dropping first in this “Bold Gold” colorway that we previewed last month, the shoe features premium suede overlays, bungee-cord laces and special co-branding throughout. Release for this pair takes place on March 29 via adidas and select retailers at a starting price of $120 USD.
Original Story: The next chapter of Bad Bunny and adidas’ partnership was presented at the end of last month with the reveal of the duo’s new Ballerina silhouette. Inspired by adidas’ Taekwondo model, it was introduced in “Off White” and “Core Black” and the sneaker has now appeared in a vibrant “Bold Gold” look that is set to serve as the debut colorway for the shoe.
This new preview of the adidas Ballerina sees its suede and textile upper shine in “Bold Gold” as black contrast is delivered at the Three Stripes and heel tab. A new “benito” wordmark in gold glistens above the lateral stripes while the “adidas para Bad Bunny”-branded sole unit favors a gum finish. As noted with the previous reveals, the duo’s visible size tag element hits the heel in white with black text to complete its exterior.
At the time of writing, neither Bad Bunny nor adidas have officially announced the rollout of this “Bold Gold” iteration of the Ballerina silhouette. However, it is currently set to drop via select retailers such as Sneaker Politics next month at a starting price of $120 USD.
