Jordan Brand just brought back the Air Jordan 9 in its “Cool Grey” colorway from 2002 earlier this month. While the model continues to enjoy a spot in the label’s lifestyle rotation, a new report from sneaker insiders zSneakerHeadz and Sneaker Files has indicated that another colorway from 2002 is dropping soon.

Rumor has it that the Air Jordan 9 “Flint Grey” will be arriving on shelves again next year. The throwback look has never been re-released and while we remain without an initial preview of what to expect from its 2026 version, we expect it to carry all of its original details. These elements include a white leather upper that is complemented by a “Flint Grey” mudguard, as well as “French Blue” accents at the tongue, Jumpman branding, heel branding, and lace loops.

At the time of writing, Jordan Brand has not yet confirmed that the “Flint Grey” version of the Air Jordan 9 will be releasing next year. Stay tuned for updates, including a first look at next year’s version of the shoe, as we currently expect it to drop next spring via Nike SNKRS and select retailers at a starting price of $210 USD.
