Afterpay Undergoes a Major Revamp, Merging with CashApp for a New Era

Afterpay is now undergoing a refresh, showing the platform’s capabilities through a new lens. For all US customers, the “Buy Now, Pay Later” ecosystem will now be known as Cash App Afterpay. In this case, the two brands are better together. All product offerings will remain the same, but Afterpay Pay in 4 and Pay Monthly products will now automatically be available to Cash App users.

This new $Afterpay branding bridges the gap between both platforms, which each assist in making spending easier and more efficient for shoppers. Now, when shopping online and browsing some of your favorite participating merchants, you’ll have the option to pay over time — paying your way. Whether you’re shopping for your favorite coveted grails or securing a gift for a loved one, this gives you more flexilbity in the process.

This revamp comes along with an all-new look — as modern design elements blend the signature green accents of CashApp with the no-fuss experience of Afterpay. A new logo will debut as well, showcasing the power of bringing together the two brands for an effortless user experience.

Cash App customers will start to have access to these new features this week while Afterpay customers will still enjoy the same experience with a refreshed brand look and feel.
