Leonardo DiCaprio‘s next film is another at Warner Bros.. From filmmaker Paul Thomas Anderson, the studio has released a teaser trailer for One Battle After Another ahead of the full trailer arriving next week.

Set as a neo-Western, the film’s short teaser sees a series of characters firing off guns into a field. Teyana Taylor‘s pregnant character can be seen resting a rifle on her belly as she fires off several rounds. DiCaprio sits by watching while sipping a drink. In the next scene, the baby arrives and the narrator can be heard asking, “What are you gonna do about this baby?” The teaser immediately cuts to the grown child firing her own rifle just like her mother. In the background, a voice can be heard stating, “Just when you think you got a handle on things.” An older version of DiCaprio’s character is in frame and portrayed with a goatee, looking down the scope of a gun as Sean Penn’s character drags a young woman screaming through an alleyway. The film also stars Regina Hall alongside DiCaprio, Taylor and Penn.

Before the teaser trailer was revealed the film’s plot was shared to be a “contemporary setting.” The film was rumored to cost upwards of $100 million USD and will be the sixth feature collaboration between Anderson and composer Johnny Greenwood. One Battle After Another releases on September 26 in theaters.
