In a post-Grammy interview with Justin LaBoy, Ye revealed just when fans can expect his new album BULLY.

For his 11th studio album, which was announced last September during his performance in China, Ye reveals how his oldest daughter, North West inspired his music, even revealing that she impacts when the album will come out. Ye told LaBoy, “My oldest said to bring it out in June.” LaBoy then asked for clarification, “Your birthday or her birthday,” to which Ye looked over to North and asked, “Didn’t Yeezus come out on your birthday?” North then nodded and Ye confirmed, “Yeah, so we are gonna do it on your birthday. That’s when we’re gonna bring Bully out ’cause that’s her favorite album.” Yeezus dropped on June 18 and North’s birthday is on June 15, so fans can expect the album to arrive in the summer.

In the same interview, Ye was also asked about the current Drake versus Kendrick Lamar feud. LaBoy asked if Ye thought that “Kendrick killed Drake, he’s dead” and while Ye agreed, he only thinks its temporary, “Yeah, for now. You can’t ever count out Steph Curry. That man might get 200 points in one song or something. You know what it was is, like, look at the Tyler, the Creator freestyle that he did. ‘That Guy,’ right? Drake added something to the algorithm, to our frequency. He advanced us. Future advanced us. And now, Kendrick has advanced the frequency.” Ye continued, “It’s like when Twista came out. There was rappers that didn’t learn but then JAY-Z learned that you could do it. If you don’t really learn as just a professional rapper, as a sport, what Kendrick is doing, you might be wiped.
