Update: Shortly after teasing YZY’s foray into womenswear, Ye has officially dropped off his brand’s first women’s piece.

Dubbed the BD-01 on the official YZY webstore, the piece is seemingly inspired by the artist’s wife, Bianca Censori, and arrives as a black bodysuit crafted with lightweight material. Ye shared the news on social media with an accompanying polaroid of a female model sporting the bodysuit.

Check out his post below. The BD-01 bodysuit is available now on the YZY webstore.

Original story: Ye revealed that his YZY brand is set to make its expansion into womenswear, taking to Instagram to share a little teaser and a message for those who don’t “work at YEEZY.”

The multi-hyphenate revealed the news on social media with a singular photo of a black bodysuit that features a revealing cut. “Yzy women’s coming next • SCALING INNOVATION,” he wrote in the caption. West also warned “anyone in clothing that doesn’t work at Yeezy,” corporations who are leveraging his platform, using his connections and overcharging his community while ignoring his vision and direction to “be afraid.”

“Stopping the foam runners and Yeezy slides production during COVID only to copy the designs; People tried to tell me to go back to adidas; Of course it was people close enough to ask for money from me,” Ye continued. “They didn’t care about my freedom or vision; Now my vision is coming to life and I have a John Wick vendetta against every fashion company; as my fellow Gemini Tupac said Die mutherf*cker Die Now; play off the grid.”

A firm release date or further information about YZY Women’s was not revealed.

Since the beginning of the new year, Ye has teased and released the new YZY SL-01 slipper silhouette in different colorways, and also previewed the BL-01 sneaker. However, only the black SL-01 is currently available for purchase.

Check out Ye’s teaser below and stay tuned for more info.
