The TV Anime of ‘Gundam Gquuuuuux’ Will Release in Spring
While the theatrical version will premiere in the US later this week.
In a newly-released promotional video via official Gundam outlets, a release date for Mobile Suit Gundam GQuuuuuuX’s TV anime has been confirmed.
Directed by industry veteran Kazuya Tsurumaki and led by Hideaki Anno’s renowned team at studio khara, the anime follows a high-schooler named Amate Yuzuriha, who enjoys a peaceful life in a space colony. Amate’s life changes dramatically when a chance encounter with a war refugee named Nyaan draws her into the world of Clan Battle, an illegal mobile suit dueling sport.
Gundam GQuuuuuuX -Beginning-, the anime film version, offers an alternate retelling of the core events in the upcoming TV anime. The film debuted in theaters in Japan at the start of the year and is set to also premiere in North America via GKIDS later this week.
