Peugeot's Design Lab Unveils Wild 504 Pikes Peak Concept
As well as a Break wagon variant.
Peugeot has unveiled a strikingly imaginative concept car designed to conquer the legendary Pikes Peak hill climb, drawing inspiration from its classic 1968 midsized model, the iconic Peugeot 504, including its Break wagon variant.
Reimagined by the creative minds at Peugeot Design Lab, the conceptual racer pays tribute to French rap group 113, merging motorsport aggression with distinctive artistic flair. Prominent features include exaggerated ultra-wide fender flares, a dramatic dual-wing setup and a fully stripped interior boldly adorned with pink plaid upholstery. The design boldly reinterprets the original model’s elegant lines into something distinctly modern and daring.
Not stopping there, Peugeot revealed a second iteration described as “made for drift,” further amplifying the project’s offbeat style. This drift-focused concept features an asymmetrical tire setup, an unusual stacked roof rack, and an eccentric rectangular yoke steering wheel. Perhaps most unconventional is the inclusion of a vinyl turntable integrated into the interior, emphasizing the project’s playful spirit and cultural nods.
While Peugeot hasn’t provided specific technical details or confirmed plans to bring these vehicles to life, the captivating visuals alone have sparked significant interest among enthusiasts and motorsport fans alike.
