Fresh off of the Spring/Summer 2025 womenswear runway, Fendi and Red Wing have released their anticipated leather bootie. Just in time for the Italian luxury house’s 100th anniversary celebration, Fendi has given Red Wing’s classically sturdy boots an elevated high-fashion twist in an unexpected collaboration. The runway boots are also part of Kim Jones‘s final collection for the brand. Following the runway show in October of last year, Jones stepped down from his role as creative director of womenswear and couture.
Each boot is composed of materials hand-selected and crafted by Fendi artisans in Italy. The materials were then sent to Red Wing in the US for final assembly. The lace-up ankle boots feature a signature loafer toe made entirely in leather. Fendi’s iconic FF motif is hand woven on each side also in matching leather. Two-tone chord laces add a subtle pop of color to the leather’s monotone look. The heel has a slight 30 mm raise adding a subtle editorial element.
