J. Cole Quietly Drops "cLOUDs" on His Blog
“Made this a few days ago, then i added a second verse and was like ‘man I got a blog now, I can put whatever I want up there,’” he wrote.

J. Cole has been loving his blog. After taking to his site, titled The Algorithm (where he mostly drops new installments from his Inevitable audio series), to let fans know that he’s “locked in” on making new music on Wednesday, the 40-year-old rapper has returned to the blog to drop off an entirely new track, dubbed “cLOUDs.”
“just wanted to share. made this a few days ago, then i added a second verse and was like ‘man I got a blog now, I can put whatever I want up there,’” Cole wrote of the track on his blog, adding, “didn’t have a title 20 minutes ago when I decided to really put this up. But now I got one.”
On the track’s intense beat, Cole raps, “I’m that bass in your trunk, the bullet that missed Trump/ The gun that jammed ’cause it seemed God had other plans/ The son of man extending his hand to Son Of Sam/ In forgiveness, for all of the homicides we witnessed/ The over-dramatized, the traumatized with sickness.”
The new track marks the first release since Cole’s mixtape Might Delete Later, which he put out in April of last year. The project included a diss track aimed at Kendrick Lamar, titled “7 Minute Drill.”
