AAPENOW SS25 Collection Launches Alongside AAPENOW NOVA Kicks
The range draws inspiration from Kamakura, Japan, blending traditional Japanese culture with street style.
AAPENOW, a sub-line of AAPE BY A BATHING APE®, launched in the Spring/Summer of 2020, and integrates iconic AAPE elements into a collection of essential items such as t-shirts, polos, lightweight jackets, and shorts. The brand emphasizes simplicity and vibrant designs at accessible price points, making it suitable for daily street style. 2025 Spring/Summer Collection casts its gaze on the ancient capital of Kamakura, Japan, exploring the quaint architecture and experiences the stunning coastal scenery, where traditional Japanese culture collides wonderfully with street culture.
In addition to versatile black, white, and gray tones, the collective incorporates vibrant hues such as mud yellow, kiwi green, burgundy, deep orange, and light pink, designed to evoke a sense of the warmer seasons. New designs for the offering include retro check patterns and minimalist striped shirts with denim fabric, and the collection sees the iconic two-tone ape face camouflage paired with loose silhouettes.
The AAPENOW logo is applied to denim pieces using twill and cross-stitch embroidery techniques, and the collection uses brushed embroidery camouflage and floral patches, as well as playful spade, heart and plum blossom symbols. Furthermore, the drop includes sun-protective pieces made from UPF 40+ professional UV-resistant fabric and lightweight, breathable materials, to ensure comfort in warmer weather.
AAPENOW NOVA Footwear Collection
The AAPENOW NOVA footwear collection is a new addition to the brand, drawing inspiration from American street culture and music of the 1980s, and featuring a minimalist design aesthetic. The model is available in three versatile base colors: Black, Mist Gray, and Ivory. The uppers are made from synthetic suede to create a nubuck texture, and the tongue is padded for comfort. AAPENOW brand logos are on the tongue and heel, and the sole is made from Italy’s XL EXTRALIGHT® material, known for being ultra-light, waterproof, and antibacterial. AAPENOW NOVA shoes also have widened laces for a relaxed vibe and come with extra laces that match the color scheme.
