Update: A couple months ago, we previewed a new “Muni Fast Pass” version of the Nike SB Dunk Low. Now, the Swoosh has offered a complete look at the sneaker ahead of its 2026 launch. As noted in our initial discussion below, the pair nods to San Francisco’s railway system and its now-defunct monthly swipe cards. This “Safety Orange” iteration combines the bold hue with “Baroque Brown” and iridescent Swooshes in a new two-tone composition. An additional nod to the city comes courtesy of the Golden Gate Bridge-inspired sockliner branding. Look out for this colorway to drop in early 2026 via Nike SNKRS and select skate shops at an expected starting price of $135 USD.

Original Story: Nike SB is rolling out a unique Dunk Low that taps directly into Bay Area transit history: the “Muni Fast Pass.” This highly conceptual design celebrates the now-defunct monthly swipe cards used by San Francisco’s Municipal Railway system, a network that historically shuttled skaters to the city’s iconic spots.

Moving beyond traditional color blocking, the shoe employs a bold split-color design that runs straight down the middle of the silhouette. This unusual execution directly mirrors the distinct two-toned appearance of the old paper Fast Pass cards, which changed colors monthly to prevent fraud. While the teased pair features a combination of Safety Orange and Baroque Brown suede, another rumored colorway contrasts Lightning Yellow with Denim Turquoise.

Further cementing the transit theme, the shoe utilizes a reflective silver Swoosh outlined in black, mimicking the silver strip found on the physical passes. Rumors suggest the pack may include up to twelve different colorways, with one dropping each month of 2026, recreating a full year’s worth of passes. The Nike SB Dunk Low “Muni Fast Pass” is a unique intersection of street culture and local utility, offering a nostalgic piece of San Francisco’s urban landscape to the global skate community. Look for this distinctive premium pack to start rolling out in Spring 2026 at select local skate shops.
