Pacsun Goes International with New Middle East Partnership
To commemorate the deal, the brand has dropped an exclusive regional collection.
After a 40-year run of serving customers in the US, Pacsun has announced it will be expanding overseas, starting with a host of new stores, special activations and events in the Middle East.
The new chapter comes after the Californian brand signed a partnership with Majid Al Futtaim earlier this year. Marking its official entry into the region, Pacsun will open its first Middle East flagship at Dubai‘s Mall of the Emirates in 2026. This moment will serve as the launchpad for a wider regional rollout with plans to scale up to 20 locations across a number of cities.
Speaking to Hypebeast on the partnership, Chief Executive Officer of Majid Al Futtaim Lifestyle Fahed Ghanim, shared, “Pacsun resonates strongly with the Middle East because it speaks directly to a generation that is shaping culture rather than simply consuming it. Gen Z and Gen Alpha in the region are globally connected, creatively driven and deeply expressive, and Pacsun speaks to that mindset.”
“Our focus will be on building an ecosystem – including events, collaborations, experiential retail and digital storytelling – that feels rooted in local culture while staying true to Pacsun’s global ethos. This is how Pacsun will earn relevance and longevity in the Middle East, by becoming a platform where young people feel seen, supported and inspired,” he added.
To celebrate its arrival in the Middle East, Pacsun unveiled an exclusive regional collection at last weekend’s Formula 1 Abu Dhabi Grand Prix. The range features hoodies, shirts, T-shirts, and tote bags with dedicated race car graphics and embroidered details. The garments also adopt tones of black, white, green, and red to replicate the Abu Dhabi flag.
Coming off its grand reveal, Brieane Olson, Chief Executive Officer of Pacsun said, “We chose the Formula 1 Abu Dhabi Grand Prix as our launchpad because it’s not just a race; it’s a cultural phenomenon that really resonates with young people both locally and globally. By being present in a space that matters, we connected our collection to the passions and experiences that young people value, while keeping it authentic and relevant for our brand.”
She went on to say, “This event gave us a chance to show that Pacsun isn’t just a retailer—we’re a brand that cares about the community. It’s all about connecting with youth and celebrating the vibrant spirit of the region as we make our debut here.”
