Having partnered with Chrono24 to spotlight stand-out watches in a monthly series, Hypebeast reunites with the online marketplace for luxury watches to compile results in a complete 2025 round-up.

In addition to crowning the most hyped timepieces, the feature dives into the world of watches this year with real-time findings from Chrono24’s global marketplace – a platform that features 45,000 professional and private sellers as well as more than nine million monthly active customers, including Chrono24 investors and avid collectors Cristiano Ronaldo and Charles Leclerc.

Breaking down the most sought-after watches this year, we aim to give consumers all the information they need to plan their next – or first – acquisition. Keep reading for the full round-up.

Tissot Green Dial Prx T137.410.11.091.00

Chrono24 has seen a surge in demand for the Tissot Prx – up 210% from 2024. This particular model incorporates a handful of this year’s biggest watch trends into one accessibly priced package. The elegant ‘70s-style green dial proves to be the watch’s starring feature, with green dials coming out as the second most popular color option among Chrono24’s US shoppers. At 40mm, the model can also be interpreted as a versatile unisex wristwatch, adding to its widespread appeal along with its Quartz movement.

Cartier Tank Solo WSTA0028

It goes without saying, Cartier has been having a moment, and yet, the skyrocketing popularity for the luxury brand only continues to grow. Amongst its library of watches, the Tank Solo WSTA0028 stands out as the most quintessential Cartier timepiece with its rectangular case shape, Roman numerals, and slim bracelet. Chrono24 reports demand for this Cartier model increasing by 151.2% in 2025, tracing the comeback of dress watches back to the appearance of Cartier Tanks on Hollywood actors Timothee Chalomet, Tom Holland, Jacob Elordi and more.

Rolex Daytona 126500LN Black Dial

You can’t look back on the popular watches of 2025 without diving into one of the most hyped sportswatches: the iconic Rolex Daytona 126500LN. Cementing its timeless status in the watch world, Chrono24 reports an increase in demand of 81.9% for the 126500LN black dial this year. And, while secondary market prices have cooled since their peak in 2021, it mentions that Rolex maintains its stronghold on the market, still selling for near double Manufacturer’s Suggested Retail Price.

Omega Seamaster Diver 300M 210.30.42.20.03.002

With Chrono24 reporting a rise in demand by 81.3%, the Omega Seamaster Diver 300M 210.30.42.20.03.002 – better known as the “60th anniversary James Bond Edition” – has come out as another crowd favorite in 2025. Launched three years ago alongside Daniel Craig, the iconic 42mm Seamaster diving watch boldly packs a punch with its dark blue wave dial and bezel. These features are complemented by the animated moiré case back, drawing inspiration from the Bond opening sequence.

Grand Seiko Heritage Collection SBGA413

Grand Seiko fans are some of the most passionate in the watch world. Their affinity for the brand revolves around the range of expert level finishes, evident in the Heritage Collection “Shunbun” SBGA413. The model, which has increased in demand on Chrono24 by 59.4% this year, boasts a fascinating Spring Drive movement combining Quartz movement with a mechanical one for both accuracy and smoothness. Other features include the “flake” dial and a titanium case, making it more unique than the rest of the Grand Seiko models.
