As the new year approaches, the creative partnership between ASICS and Australian design house HAL STUDIOS is set to reach a new pinnacle. Launching in January 2026, the duo presents the GEL-NYC 2.0 SSHS, a silhouette that serves as the debut entry for their highly anticipated “Signature Series.” This release moves beyond standard sportswear, viewing footwear through the lens of structural design and urban sociology.
The release, which appears to currently feature two earth-toned colorways, titled “The Architecture of Everyday Life,” draws its aesthetic DNA from the silent, industrial skeletons of New York City.
