This holiday season, AVAVAV and adidas are set to release two distinctive collaborative silhouettes, the Moonrubber Megaride and the Superstar Vacuum. Both models are arriving in a futuristic design and will be available in two unique colorways.
The Moonrubber Megaride features an experimental design, characterized by a dramatically swollen and bulky sole that strikingly contrasts with the familiar mesh upper of other adidas sneakers, creating a stylish and forward-looking aesthetic. This silhouette is offered in a subtle triple-black iteration and a more vibrant, artistic grey-and-olive combination.
The Superstar Vacuum is reimagined with a sculpted, softened leather upper, resulting in a deliberately distorted appearance. This exaggerated style is further enhanced by a cracked, worn-in shell toe, contributing to a destroyed aesthetic. This silhouette will be available in black colorways, offering a sleek yet unique look, and an additional brown colorway, which introduces a sense of dressiness while retaining the Superstar’s street heritage.
