Bang & Olufsen pulls the cover off Beosound Premiere, a design-first, aluminum-clad soundbar that aims to be both a sculpture and a cinema upgrade. Expect premium build and price to match.
Under the hood sit 10 custom drivers with dedicated amps and an up-firing tweeter framed by 1,925 precision perforations. A patent-pending Wide Stage Technology expands perceived width and height for a room-filling stage. It decodes Dolby Atmos 7.1.4 and plays nice with B&O’s ecosystem via Beolink Surround, so you can start with the bar and scale to full theater later.
Interaction is part of the show. Ninety internal LEDs glow with settings changes, while finishes in Natural Aluminum, Gold Tone, and Black Anthracite lean into the object-first aesthetic. Connectivity covers HDMI eARC, Wi‑Fi and Bluetooth, plus modern streaming staples like AirPlay, Spotify Connect, Tidal Connect and Deezer Connect. It ships with a versatile stand for wall or tabletop.
The look is modular, too. Optional covers include a grey mélange fabric and sculpted wooden fronts in oak or dark oak for those chasing a warmer, furniture-forward vibe.
Pricing lands at $5,800 USD, with Natural Aluminum arriving first in December, then Gold Tone in February and Black Anthracite in March. For collectors, a Haute Edition—limited to 25—adds precision-milled grooves, takes 17 hours to machine, includes an engraved number and ships with a matching Beoremote One and certificate of authenticity at $15,700 USD.
