In anticipation of Wicked: For Good hitting cinemas this November, Puma is releasing three pairs of Speedcat OG, “Glinda,” “Elphaba,” and “Silver Slippers,” inspired by the musical’s lead characters.
The “Glinda” Speedcat OG features a soft pink and lilac colorway, reflecting her elegant and feminine style. The design is elevated further with frilly accents and crystal embellishments, mirroring her iconic dress, while bubble embroidery on the heel references her magical travel bubble.
In contrast, the “Elphaba” pair embodies her anti-heroine’s gothic aesthetic. The silhouette showcases dimensional ruffles and electric green foil stitching, adding an edgy touch. Both collaborative pairs include Wicked inscribed on their tongue tags, highlighting the partnership.
Completing the collection is the “Silver Slippers” Speedcat Ballet. Its design draws inspiration from the iconic slippers in The Wizard of Oz, featuring a ballet shoe silhouette, metallic uppers, spiral stitch lines, and three glitter straps.
