Nike is bringing back the iconic safari-print, first seen on Tinker Hatfield’s 1987 Air Safari, on a new pair of SB Dunk Low. This follows the previous release of SB Dunk Low “Olympic Safari” during the Paris 2024 Olympics, which also features safari-print. The new Nike SB Dunk Low “Cobblestone” takes inspiration even further, with a colorway and design that closely mirror Tinker Hatfield’s original design, seamlessly blending skateboarding functionality with Nike’s rich heritage.
The standout feature of this sneaker is undoubtedly the safari-print overlays, which adorn the forefoot, eyestays, and heel. These are contrasted by black nubuck underlays, while monarch orange suede on the toe box adds visual interest. Branding elements include a light grey Swoosh on the side and a bright orange Nike embroidered logo. A cream-coloured midsole with subtle aging effects, paired with a black outsole, gives the sneaker a vintage touch. The “Cobblestone” comes with two pairs of laces, one black and one orange.
