Vaquera leaves its mark on everything it does – and its Nike collaboration is no exception.
The New York City-bred, now Paris-based label is taking “showing love” to a whole new level in its reimagined take on the Nike Air Max DN8. First shown on the runway in Paris for the label’s Spring/Summer 2026 showcase, the sneakers come stamped with bright red kisses all over the all-white silhouette.
Vaquera made its first step into the footwear world in Paris last September, with Creative Directors Patric DiCaprio and Bryn Taubensee introducing the label’s first pair of inline footwear offerings. Developed in collaboration with Philéo came two 100% leather models: a knee-high cowboy boot and a pump with a small kitten heel.
The brand’s most notable collaborative footwear endeavor is its reimagining of Onitsuka Tiger’s Mexico 66 sneaker for its Spring/Summer 2025 show, defined by the words “LOVE” and “RAGE” embroidered on the tongues.
While a release date hasn’t been confirmed, Vaquera’s Instagram post promises: “Coming soon.”
