Earlier this year, adidas Originals and Thug Club shook the world with their first collaboration back in April, albeit limited to a Korea release. Now, the pair is back in action for its first full-blown collection that sees their shared design language sharper than ever before, confirmed for a global release later this month.
A disruptive reimagining of the Three Stripes’ DNA through the lens of Korean streetwear, the foray spans apparel and footwear, with Thug Club’s distinct defiance dripping across a selection of needle-pushing outerwear and striking new Superstar silhouettes.
Finding design inspiration in the sport of fencing, the range reinterprets medieval influence through the lens of the sport’s modern Duelists to curate a delivery that’s energy transcends far beyond the fencing piste.
The adidas Superstar comes reimagined as a Superstar Boot Luxe TB sneaker, equipped with a custom shell-toe, leather upper, and co-branded metal emblem. The statement model is placed up against an equally rebellious recoding: the GSG9 Boot resurfaces with an asymmetric toe cap, an overdyed suede, leather, and Cordura upper.
