Samsøe Samsøe and Schott NYC Launch an Outwear Capsule

There are few pieces more essential to a Fall/Winter wardrobe than a shearling jacket. This staple silhouette offers timeless style while remaining undeniably practical – whether you’re trekking through the city or exploring the forest. Fortunately, Samsøe Samsøe and Schott NYC’s Fall/Winter 25 collection introduces a pristine new edition of this classic, just in time for the colder months.
The limited-edition capsule features four outerwear pieces: the Safreya Jacket and Safreya Vest, and the Saboy Jacket and Saboy Vest. Technically, the Safreya is designed for women and the Saboy for men, but the collection is fundamentally unisex.
In line with Samsøe Samsøe’s Scandinavian roots, the designs are minimal yet rich in detail. The pieces seem to subtly nod to Schott’s motorcycling heritage, and elements like the exaggerated collar – which can be worn up or down – and textural finish gives the collection a strong, stylized presence.
To celebrate the launch, the two brands created a dedicated campaign shot by photographer Vitali Gelwich. Featuring Greta Hofer and Khadim, the images were captured in Sock, Paris, with owls perched on the models’ arms. The owls bring an added layer of energy and elegance to the visuals, symbolizing the effortless sophistication of the collection and nodding to the pull of nature that even for the most loyal city dwellers feel from time to time.
In keeping with this theme, Samsøe Samsøe and Schott NYC will celebrate the launch with a special Søciety retreat in the English countryside. Hosted in collaboration with Karmen Tsang, the trip will take place at Kin House and include a curated program of owl flying and foraging activities.
