  • NEEDLES and Rocky Mountain Featherbed are launching their first collaboration
  • The collection reinterprets the iconic Western-yoke down series with new photo-printed yokes
  • The Down Jacket and Vest will be available starting October 18

NEEDLES, the Japanese brand renowned for its unique fusion of sportswear and vintage-inspired menswear, has partnered with Rocky Mountain Featherbed for their first-ever collaboration, reinterpreting iconic Western-yoke down series.

The collaboration features Rocky Mountain Featherbed’s signature Yoke Down Jacket and Down Vest. A notable design change is the replacement of the usual single-piece leather yoke with photo prints depicting red-crowned cranes dancing against sunsets and snowy fields. Both the outer and inner linings are crafted from 70 denier nylon taffeta, while the padding utilizes 700 fill power European water-repellent down, offering superior warmth and a lightweight, comfortable wearing experience. Both the down jacket and vest are available in three colors: purple, beige, and black.

Priced at ¥140,800 JPY (approx. $940 USD) for the jacket and ¥96,800 JPY (approx. $640 USD) for the vest, the NEEDLES x Rocky Mountain Featherbed collection is set to launch on October 18 and will be available for purchase on NEPENTHES’s website and its affiliated stores.
