Celebrating its 30th anniversary, the iconic Japanese anime series, Evangelion, has announced a collaboration with G-SHOCK to release the GA-110EVA30. This collaborative timepiece seamlessly merges G-SHOCK’s classic design with the distinctive mechanical aesthetic of EVA unit, as commissioned by the series’ mechanical designer, Yamashita Ikuto.

The watch’s design is a detailed homage to the EVA-01 unit. Notable features include horns from Unit-01’s head at the 12 o’clock band, EVA-01 unit’s face integrated into the bezel, and a depiction of the left arm poised to throw the Spear of Longinus, extending from the bottom of the bezel to the 6 o’clock band. An Angel motif adorns the inset hand at 9 o’clock, while the Y-shaped dial divider showcases the series’ recognizable black and yellow “Caution” pattern.

Every detail, from the “Neon Genesis” on the band ring and the NERV logo on the band tip to the 30th-anniversary logo on the case back, immerses the wearer in the world of Evangelion. In addition, this special edition comes in unique packaging printed with the Evangelion 30th-anniversary graphic.

The Evangelion x G-SHOCK GA-110EVA30 is more than just a collaboration. It’s a heartfelt tribute to the series and a delightful surprise for its fans. Priced at ¥37400 JPY (approx. $250 USD), it is now available via raffle on Casio G-SHOCK’s JP site until October 6. A general release is also scheduled for October 17.
