Apple TV has debuted the official trailer for Breaking Bad creator Vince Gilligan’s Pluribus, starring Better Call Saul staple Rhea Seehorn.
Despite Gilligan and Seehorn’s involvement in the Breaking Bad universe, Pluribus is actually not part of that world. Instead, the series sees Seehorn as Carol who is described as “the most miserable person on Earth.” Her job? “[S]ave the world from happiness.”
The trailer itself doesn’t share any further details, except for suggestions that Carol is the only one who can’t get infected by some sort of contagion. Surrounded by scientists in protective hazmat suits, the US President promises Carol that they’ll find a way to make her “join” them.
Joining Seehorn in the cast are Karolina Wydra and Carlos-Manuel Vesga. Gilligan executive produces alongside Gordon Smith, Alison Tatlock, Diane Mercer, Allyce Ozarski and Jeff Frost.
