Charli XCX Ventures Into Filmmaking With A24’s ‘The Moment’
She will both produce and star in the film.

Charli XCX’s creative journey takes an exciting turn as she ventures into filmmaking with her upcoming A24 feature, The Moment. In addition to starring in the film, she will produce it through her newly founded production company, Studio365. While plot details are being kept under wraps, the project has already generated significant buzz due to its promising creative team and Charli’s unique artistic vision.
The film is a collaboration with Scottish photographer and filmmaker Aidan Zamiri, who will make his feature directorial debut. Zamiri co-wrote the screenplay with Bertie Brandes, while Charli’s longtime collaborator, A.G. Cook – known for his work on her acclaimed album Brat – will compose the score. The production team also includes David Hinojosa of 2AM as a producer, with executive producers Brandon Creed, Mikey Schwartz-Wright and Zach Nutman adding their expertise.
