MANHART Unleashes the BMW MH2 500 II
Pushing 503 hp and a maximum torque of 466 lb-ft.

MANHART has once again demonstrated its mastery in tuning with the release of the BMW MH2 500 II, an enhanced version of the BMW M240i (G42). This project car takes the already impressive capabilities of BMW’s compact coupe to new heights, making it a worthy challenger to its big brother, the M2.
Under the hood, the MH2 500 II boasts a 503 hp and 466 lb-ft of torque, surpassing the M2 Competition’s standard 460 hp and even the LCI’s 480 hp. Achieved through the integration of MANHART’s MHtronik power box, a new intake manifold with an intercooler and a 300-cell HJS catalytic converter paired with a stainless steel rear silencer, the powertrain is tuned for optimum performance with 102-octane fuel. The xDrive all-wheel drive system ensures this immense power translates to the road with exceptional grip and minimal loss.
To match the enhanced performance, MANHART equipped the MH2 500 II with KW Variant 3 coil-over suspension, featuring adjustable damping. For those seeking subtle upgrades, H&R lowering springs are also available. The vehicle’s braking system remains standard but can be upgraded to suit individual preferences.
Visually, the MH2 500 II features glossy white MANHART Concave One alloy wheels — 20 inches in diameter — paired with MANHART carbon aerodynamic parts, including a front spoiler, side skirts, rear spoiler and diffuser. These elements contrast sharply with the pastel light blue body wrap, accented by MANHART’s signature black trim. Inside, the upgrades continue with a leather and Alcantara-wrapped BMW M steering wheel, carbon fiber shift paddles and black-painted spokes, ensuring the interior matches the car’s dynamic performance and bold exterior.
With Stage 2 and Stage 3 power upgrades available, the MH2 500 II is positioned to offer even more for performance enthusiasts. Details on price and availability are available now via the builder’s official site.
