Volkswagen has revealed its exclusive ID.3 GTX “Fire + Ice” at the ID. Meeting in Locarno, Switzerland. This one-of-a-kind EV pays homage to the iconic 1990s Golf Mk2 Fire and Ice and was developed in collaboration with luxury sports fashion brand BOGNER.

The ID.3 GTX Fire + Ice stands out with its unique three-layer exterior paint finish, featuring a glass bead effect that shifts color from dark blue to violet or black depending on the light. Inside, the vehicle’s design theme is split between “Fire” and “Ice,” with contrasting red and blue accents on the seats, stitching and pedals. Inspired by BOGNER’s Fire + Ice collection, the interior also incorporates original materials and accessories from the 1990s.

As for performance, the ID.3 GTX Fire + Ice is powered by Volkswagen’s most powerful electric motor to date, producing over 320 hp and accelerating from 0 to 60 mph in 5.7 seconds. With a 79 kWh battery, it offers a range of up to 373 miles. At the time of writing, Volkswagen hasn’t shared whether or not the one-off example will be offered for sale.
