Cardi B Gives Birth to Third Child With Offset
Just a month after filing for divorce.
Cardi B took to Instagram to announce that she has given birth to her third child with Offset, a baby girl. The “WAP” rapper first announced her pregnancy in early August, just hours after filing for divorce from the Migos star.
The mother of three has taken to Instagram to reveal an intimate look at her family moments after the birth of her third child. At the time of her announcement she wrote on Instagram, “With every ending comes a new beginning! I am so grateful to have shared this season with you, you have brought me more love, more life and most of all renewed my power! Reminded me that I can have it all!” As a note to the new baby she said, “You’ve reminded me that I never have to choose between life, love, and my passion! I love you so much and can not wait for you to witness what you helped me accomplish, what you pushed me to do. It’s so much easier taking life’s twists, turns and test laying down, but you, your brother and your sister have shown me why it’s worth it to push through!” In the new post after welcoming their newborn baby girl, Cardi showed videos and photos of Offset and her other two kids visiting her in the hospital after the birth.
Now a month after finalizing the divorce from Offset, Cardi had reportedly filed a petition stating that the couple are not getting back together and have “experienced irreconcilable differences that have caused the breakdown of the marriage” and “there is no reasonable prospect of reconciliation.” This May, Cardi opened up to Rolling Stone about her relationship with Offset, “We think it through, because we do love each other. It’s not even about love. We’re best friends. And it’s like, ‘OK. Well, there was a time that I didn’t have a best friend, or I didn’t have a support system.’” She added, “It’s not even about ‘How do you leave a partner?’ How do you stop talking to your best friend?”
