Bringing a taste of Scandinavia to New York City, Cecilie Bahnsen joined forces with ASICS once again for a pop-up experience and exclusive showroom activation during New York Fashion Week. With three other coveted collabs under their belts, the two brands have discovered a shared harmony — and have now unveiled their fourth collaboration.

Cecilie Bahnsen is known for her otherworldly ready-to-wear designs which juxtapose Danish minimalism with inventive silhouettes and alluring textural elements. Bringing this feminine touch to ASICS, the two brands have struck a delicate balance between functionality and flair. The upcoming collaboration will include three monochrome colorways: bright red, brown, and an edgier black.

To ring in the new launch and to properly kick off Fashion Week, Cecilie Bahnsen and ASICS created an immersive display at 41 Division St and hosted a launch party. The event provided a space for friends and fans of the brand to discover the new Cecilie Bahnsen x ASICS GEL-TERRAIN shoe as well as pieces from Bahnsen’s most recent AW24 collection, showing the artistic throughlines between her footwear and garments.

During the party, guests could snack on tablescape hors d’ouvres by chef Suea, including Korean rice cake and charcuterie selections, as well as drinks by Yola Mezcal. DJ Chelsea Leyland kept the energy flowing with upbeat music mixes all night, and a giant inflatable sphere floated in the middle of the space, which was featured on the AW24 runway at Paris Fashion Week. Notable attendees included Caroline Grosso, Gaelle Drevet, Naomi Elizee, and more.

For those who couldn’t make the party, the Cecilie Bahnsen x ASICS pop-up remained open to the public for three days, with private appointments available on the space’s 2nd floor and a coffee bar by Dreamers Coffee House. The Cecilie Bahnsen x ASICS GEL-TERRAIN will launch on October 16 via her website at a starting price of $255 USD.
