Ongoing tennis championships are currently capturing the attention of sports fans and fashion lovers alike, finishing out a summer of athletic fanfare. Harnessing that energy, FILA invited guests to a celebratory CASA FILA pop-up in Nolita, NYC honoring the brand’s 113-year legacy.

FILA has thrived at the crossroads of tennis, fashion, and Italian lifestyle, transforming the future of the sport with infectious flair. Looking back on its storied past while honoring what is to come, the brand brought Biella, Italy to New York City on August 29. The pop-up also included tournament viewing opportunities so guests could join in on the fun.

The pop-up and immersive experience included products from the new CASA FILA collection, archival displays, Italian-inspired bites and drinks and sounds by DJ Marco Weibel. A Bellissimo bar offered unique cocktails, including a classic Hazelnut drink, the Bellissimo Aceto, and the Bellissimo Aperitivo. As the pop-up continues through the Fall, the brand will be providing a complimentary espresso and gelato bar every weekend starting September 21-October 6. A panel will also take place at the CASA FILA pop-up on October 2 — a conversation between a FILA archivist and James Harris of Throwing Fits.

During the watch party event, an interactive photo mood board captured the essence of the activation, snapping shots of guests interacting with the new collection and taking in the matches. The CASA FILA collection launched last month and includes nods to the traditional country club scene as well as the brand’s heritage. Key pieces include sweater vests, athletic track sets and footwear.

You can visit the CASA FILA NYC pop-up until October 12. Learn more about the CASA FILA collection at fila.com.
