MANHART Gives the BMW M240i More Power Than the M2
Boasting 440 hp and 442 lb-ft of torque, with stage 2 and 3 upgrades available on request.
MANHART, known for enhancing BMW models, has revealed the MH2 450, based on the BMW M240i. While fans might expect a modified BMW M2 from the name, the MH2 450 is a tuned version of the M240i, that with additional upgrades can even exceed the performance of the M2.
The M240i’s stock 3.0L B58 twin-power turbo in-line six-cylinder engine, which typically produces 374 hp and 368 lb-ft is taken to new heights by MANHART. Thanks to their in-house MHtronik powerbox, the MH2 450 delivers 440 hp and 442 lb-ft of torque, paired with an upgraded exhaust system featuring a GRAIL rear silencer and four 100 mm tailpipes. For enthusiasts seeking even more power, MANHART offers Stage 2 and 3 performance upgrades on request.
Notably, the MH2 450’s suspension also receives attention, with optional MANHART lowering springs by H&R or a Variant 4 coilover system by KW, designed to sharpen the car’s handling and aesthetics. MANHART’s signature Concave One rims, finished in glossy white and sized at 20 inches, further enhance the vehicle’s aggressive stance.
Visually, the MH2 450 boasts carbon fiber components, including a front spoiler, side sill attachments, a rear diffuser and a rear spoiler. The customization continues with an interior upgrade featuring a leather/Alcantara steering wheel, black lacquered spokes and MANHART carbon shift paddles.
