Fratello and Minase Presents Third M-3 Watch Collaboration
Introducing “Shiro.”
Joining forces with Fratello once again, independent Japanese watch brand Minase has revealed their new collaborative M-3 model, “Shiro” — a reference that was previously only available in Japan.
Translating to “white” in English, “Shiro” is long been a symbolic hue for purity and spirituality in Japanese culture. As indicated by its name, the timepiece spotlights a white dial with an embossed pattern. The pattern is crafted using traditional Japanese lacquerwork, which gives the dial a distinct and silvery appearance. This is paired with lume-filled faceted hands and applied hour markers, complete with Minase’s logo.
Encased in stainless steel, the watch features a 39mm width, arriving in the M-3’s signature tonneau shape. Powering the timepiece is a modified Sellita SW200-1 movement with the date function removed, providing 42 hours of continuous running time. A denim blue buffalo leather strap completes the watch with an elegant and sophisticated flair.
Priced at €2,470 EUR (around $2,746 USD), the collaborative Minase M-3 “Shiro” timepiece is now available for pre-order and until September 24 via Fratello’s webstore.
