Honda has announced that the iconic Honda Dax 125 will be available to U.S. customers starting in October, paying tribute to the beloved 1969 Trail 70. The miniMOTO model, which was first introduced in Europe for the 2023 model year, is now set to make its way Stateside.

The Dax 125 joins Honda’s popular miniMOTO lineup, which includes models like the Grom, Monkey, Super Cub, Trail125 and Navi. With its retro T-shaped frame, chunky tires and compact design, the Dax brings back memories of the Trail 70’s heyday in the U.S., when it was a common sight at campgrounds and motorhome parks.

Colin Miller, American Honda’s Public Relations Manager, shared his excitement, stating, “The Dax 125 honors the original Trail 70 while introducing modern technology, performance, and reliability. We’re eager to see its reception among U.S. customers.”

Available in Pearl Glittering Blue and Pearl Gray, the Dax 125 merges its vintage aesthetic with 21st-century performance, making it an appealing option for both nostalgic older riders and younger ones. Pricing for the 2025 Dax 125 is expected to start at $4,199 USD.
