Hiroshi Fujiwara and Bandai Reunite For the Original Tamagotchi FRGMT EDITION 2
Now offered in a new colorway.

Hiroshi Fujiwara and Bandai have reunited for their newest Original Tamagotchi FRGMT EDITION 2 toy.
The second collaboration’s Tamagotchi body and packaging are designed by Fujiwara himself, and will be offered in a White version in addition to the original Black colorway. Measuring at approximately two inches tall, the inside of the body arrives with a matte finish for a simple yet detailed look and will, of course, include the original Tamagotchi training game. Just like the Original Tamagotchi series, the Black version will run the GEN1 program while the White version is built with the GEN2 program.
The Original Tamagotchi FRGMT EDITION in Black or White will be available via a lottery system with a retail price of ¥4,400 JPY (approximately $30 USD) each. The lottery opens on September 2 and will run until September 8, with the toy’s delivery scheduled for December 2024. As of writing, the collab will only be available in Japan.
