The EA ‘skate.’ Reboot Will Launch via Early Access in 2025
Developers have promised that more info will be revealed in the coming months.
EA’s skate. will be making its long-awaited return, at least in early access form. The skateboarding video game series was launched in 2007, following an everyday skater as he rises to fame in the sport. The franchise received three more installments, the last of which was released in 2010.
The studio behind skate., EA Black Box, was shuttered in 2010, putting an end to the series. In 2020, EA announced that a new skate. game was in the works from its Full Circle studio and the original creators of the game.
Skate 4 will be launching in early access next year. While that doesn’t offer much in terms of specifics, EA said it will “share more details on what to expect in the coming months.”
